Welcome & Karibu!

Angels of Africa is a registered non-profit organization with 501 (c) (3) status. Our main mission is to

empower rural African communities by equipping them with the resources and knowledge necessary to be completely and proficiently self-sustainable in the wake of global warming and climate change.

We believe that by empowering individuals and communities, we can help create a better future for all.

Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. We provide a range of services including environmental protection, education, healthcare, and community development. Our goal is to create sustainable solutions that will have a lasting impact on the communities that we serve.

From Orphan-Focused to Community Support

Our organization began in Oregon as "Guardian Angels of African Orphans (GAOAO)". However, we later adopted the name Angels of Africa to better reflect our broader mission.

We initially envisioned supporting projects that directly benefit orphaned children. But, we came to understand that these children are part of families and communities. Isolating them for support wouldn't be sustainable. For this reason, we shifted our focus to holistic community development projects. This approach empowers entire communities, ensuring orphans can thrive within their existing social structures. This philosophy is reflected in our name change to Angels of Africa.
